We are getting ready to go and visit Ryan's parents in Missouri. We are leaving on Saturday and are really excited to spend Christmas with his family. The only thing we're nervous about is the traveling time. We have a 3 hour flight and then a 3 hour drive to get to their house. So - I was just wondering if any of you are "travel experts" and have some fun ideas about how to keep a one and a half year old entertained when he can't get down & run around?! ("Anyone? Anyone?" ... ha ha! Name the movie!)

Ferris Bueller!
My tips would be a portable DVD player/laptop (if he is in to watching movies yet.. he might be too little still) or lots of TREATS! Yup. Candy and fruit snacks work every time :)

How about a doodle board, we have one you could borrow. Don't let him see it until you are really desperate, as it's only good entertainment for a short amount of time.
