Entertainment Tonight!

As I have mentioned before, I usually have fun, crazy dreams! It is really like watching a movie, or sometimes starring in a movie - while I'm sleeping! Last weekend must have been "celebrity dream weekend" because two nights in a row I dreamed about celebrities...
In the first dream I met up with our family friend LeBron James. (At least, he was our family friend in the dream!) We were solving some sort of mystery. I seem to have those FBI - solving mysteries - adventure kind of dreams a lot! So we were looking for the bad guys, and apparently they were also "magical" bad guys because when we caught up with them - I got turned into a block of cheese. Yep. And just for the record, I could still think when I was a block of cheese, I just had to wait for someone to turn me back into a person.
The second dream starred Stephenie Meyer! It was so fun to meet her in my dream! At first she was like starring in some type of TV special, and she had her hair all sprayed gray and was wearing a funny dress. And then it was like she was a guest speaker in a class I was attending and she was just talking to us about writing!
How fun, huh? I think these dreams are a sign that I am going to meet a celebrity soon! (or that I need to start eating less cheese! ha ha! I'm hoping for the celebrity meaning - it's more exciting!!)

Having Fun!

These are just some fun pictures that I've been meaning to post & haven't yet!

Myke was holding Derek & Mauri & then spinning around with them! They sure had fun, and what a workout! (Whenever Myke would stop, Derek would say" more more!") Waiting for my cousin! Lins & Mauri were coming to our house and Derek kept looking out the window while we were waiting for them! He was pretty excited!

Rock on!
Derek likes to get play guitar hero just like Daddy! Maybe they will come out with a toddler version?! Hmm...
Ryan's sweet Aunt & Uncle always manage to find the cutest things for Scooter! For Christmas they sent him a 49ers jacket & pants! He's just wearing the jacket in this picture because the pants don't quite fit yet!

"Go Go Gadget Arms!"
Mauri was wearing my sweatshirt & then swinging her arms around! I thought the picture turned out really funny!

What a happy little kiddo! Ryan & I both feel so lucky to have such a happy kid! He just makes us so happy! It's so fun to play with him & see how fast he's learning & growing! Oh what a sweet, sweet boy!

Jump On It!

Last weekend we went to Jump On It (the jumping place, as Mauri calls it!) with Lins, Glendon & Mauri! It was really fun! We all had a really good time - and we're excited to go again!

Me & Scooter jumpin'! Scooter & Mauri rode on the little carousel while we were there!

After we jumped for a while, Scooter had fun "playing" the arcade games!
Isn't this picture the best?!?! It cracked me up when I saw it! I'm not even sure what words to type with this... our faces seem to say it all!

Blogging for dummies?!

I really love putting new backgrounds on our blog- but I was wondering if anyone knows how to get a new background & still keep all your fun stuff on the side (links, etc) w/o having to re-type them in?! Maybe there is not a way to do that... but maybe there is! This is why I need "blogging for dummies!" ha ha!

Happy Valentines Day!

Holidays are so much fun! We don't usually go out on Valentines Day because it's too crazy busy! But we always have a fun time at home! Here are some pictures from our fun day!

Homemade Valentines. I saw this fun idea in the Family Fun magazine and I really wanted to try making them. I thought they turned out so cute! (They were called "Rockin' Valentines!") This is Scooter's "What do you mean I can't have my valentine before breakfast?" look!

We had pink, heart shaped waffles for breakfast. I think Scooter's favorite part was the strawberry jam!

Yay! Now I can have my treat! Nummy!
Ryan cooked a really yummy dinner: Chicken Cordon Blue (it seems like I spelled that wrong, but you know what I mean!!). It was really good! Ryan is so sweet & thoughtful and always does these sweet little things that make me feel so good! Besides cooking dinner, he pre-oredered the "Twilight" movie for me for Valentines day! He is just awesome at knowing things he can do for me that make me happy! I will say something - just in passing- and he remembers it and will do it for me later! I couldn't ask for a better hubby! Thanks for being so thoughtful Ry!

Aubs & Tyler also joined us for dinner! We love being able to hang out with our family! Yay! Happy Valentines Day everybody!

Good Luck Casey!

Casey goes to the MTC today! He is going to serve a mission in Mexico. Before he left he bought Mauri and Derek bears from build a bear. They were both very excited! Derek calls his bear "Casey Bear," and at first Mauri named her bunny "Cassie Honor," but I think she's calling her bunny "Casey" now - I might be wrong though! We are excited for Casey & even though we'll miss him- he'll be a great missionary!

Casey, Erica & Derek

Casey, Derek & Mauri & their furry friends! Casey, Derek & "Casey Bear." (with Mar Mar's bunny in the background!)

Pics from the superbowl!

We had a fun Superbowl party at my moms on Sunday. I love being able to get together with my family - they are so much fun!

Tyelr, Aubrey & Scooter Happy Ryan! He made his bacon burgers (mini bacon burgers actually. These are seriously The Best hamburgers ever! My mom does not like hamburgers, and she even likes these! How lucky am I that I have a sweet, handsome husband who is also a really good cook?! Yay!)

Scary Ryan!! I took this picture of Ryan's scary look so that he could see that it really is frightening! Don't wanna make him mad, huh? Ha ha! ( I love you Ry!)

Here is scooter eating a yummy chocolate brownie thing... how descriptive! ha ha. They are so good - I might have to post the recipe because they are just so tasty! (you cook a brownie like mixture in a mini muffin tin, and then you smash the middles down just a little bit & pipe in a chocolate gonache mixture... however you spell that! Anywho, they're way good!) More yummy food! We had way too much food - but it was all so good!

"Flour Zoe!" We decided she looks like a deer in this picture - you know how they have those spots on their backs? This unique design is courtesy of Mauri!

Lins made little smokies wrapped in dough & fried. They are super good! She got the recipe from their cute Korean neighbors when they lived in Logan.
Mauri! She really had a LOT of fun with the flour!

A Suite Game!

Ryan and I were lucky enough to go to a Jazz game last Tuesday. Ryan got tickets from work & it was sweet... litearlly! We watched the game from one of the suites and I have to say it was amazing! The view was great and there was yummy food too! We haven't been to a Jazz game since Scooter was born, so it was really fun - even though the Jazz lost, bummer. Ryan decided that he is now looking for a job where they frequently have a suite at the Jazz games... Any suggestions?!
