Another Trip to the Zoo!

Scooter and I are really spoiled - we always have Ryan here with us! He hasn't ever had to travel for work - but this week he is in Green Bay for a few days! Since this is something totally new for us - I planned a few fun things for me & Scooter to do while it was just the two of us! Today we went to the zoo!

Here is Scooter standing outside the entrance!
He loved the giant elephant statue! In this picture he is clapping and saying "yay" while it makes funny noises!! He liked this so much that we had to go back and see it again!

The tiger was in a different spot today than it has been other times that we've gone- and you could see it really well!! Scooter really liked looking at the tiger, especially since he had one on his shirt too!

It was really hot today, so we had to get ice cream of course!
He wanted a spoon, but they didn't have any - so he made do with his finger! haha!

It was pretty warm, but not totally roasting, so we had a really good time at the zoo! And it wasn't super busy, which was nice! We never had to wait to see any of the animals! And, as a really great bonus, we didn't hit any traffic on the way home! Thank goodness! Driving in Salt Lake makes me nervous enough - I don't know what we would have done in rush hour! (haha!).
