A Day at the Beach!

 Hooray for the beach! Our first day at Disneyland Lins talked to this family in front of us in line & they told us that Huntington Beach would be a great beach to visit - and they were right! It was great! I was a little surprised at how fast Mauri and Derek hopped into the water! It was overcast and the water was pretty chilly, but they were so excited - and the cold didn't seem to bother them at all!

 Cooper loved playing in the sand! He got in the water too- but it was a little too cold for him! He would see the waves coming up and he would run away!

 Derek loved the beach! When we were getting ready to come home at the end of our vacation, he asked if we could go to the beach one more time before going home!

 That night we had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe!  It was very fun - I couldn't believe all of the decorations! Vines and stuff hanging from the ceiling and lots of mechanical animals that moved and made noise! It was really fun! Derek and Mauri were both excited to be here- Mar just didn't want to smile for the picture, haha!

 So happy! He's such a little trooper - he was pretty much this happy the entire vacation! He is so good to just go with the flow! He's so easy going & happy!

 This was an awesome dessert that we all shared - it was called the volcano! Yummmm! I thought it was so funny because on the menu it said that 2 or more could share it....I can't imagine if only 2 people were eating it- we couldn't even finish it between four adults and three kids, haha!

 The whole gang! I really like this picture! We all had so much fun -and we would totally go on vacation with Lins, Gman and Mauri again! It was so fun because they are a lot of fun to be with and very easy going!!

California Adventure!

 Cooper J. thought this cooler was perfect for a little table! He was happy to eat here every morning... and since we've been home he's been protesting sitting in his regular seat!

 Today we went to Disney's California Adventure! This river rafting ride was one of Derek's favorites! He was cracking up on it and asked if we could go on it again!

 We loved the Toy Story ride!  It was one of the few rides with a fairly long line, but it was totally worth waiting for! It was a blast!

 Coop wasn't too sure about the merry-go-round...But after a minute he had fun with Lins and Mauri!

 One of the highlights of our trip was eating at Goofy's Kitchen! It was so fun to meet a bunch of characters! And the food was really, really good!

 We ended the night by watching the World of Color show at California Adventure! It was Amazing! It is this really cool fountain show with music - I'm so glad we were able to see it!!

 The sweet kiddos were worn out from another fun, FUN day!!

The Happiest Place on Earth: Take One!

 We have been so excited these past few months as we have planned our trip to Disneyland! We went with Lins, Gman and Mauri - and we had such a fantastic time! We told the kiddos where we were going the day before we left - and they were SO excited! Krikey, all the grown ups were pretty excited too!! Here is Derek - all set to go! 

And here is the car...all ready to go! Ryan and Glendon kept giving me and Lins a hard time about all of the "crap" we packed - but I think our motto was "Be prepared!" haha!

 We made an overnight stop in St. George the first night! Lins and Gman let us stay at his Grandparents house with them! We had fun swimming and playing around - and it was great not to have to make that LOOOOOOOOONG drive all in one day!

 And here we are in California- ready to go to Disneyland! YAY! We were so excited! And it was the greatest thing to go there with our Kiddos! Disneyland really is a magical place - I love it!!

 We were so lucky because there were hardly any lines the whole time we were there! This was one of our first rides - and one of Cooper J's favorites- the finding Nemo submarine!

After our first day in Disneyland, we were asking everyone what their favorite ride was - Mauri and Derek said "The Crazy Train" (aka Big Thunder Mountain Railway) was their favorite ride!! Everyone had such a GREAT day! We could not wait to head back the next day!!
