Christmas Part One!

CHRISTMAS EVE!

We were all able to spend Christmas Eve together - we slept at my mom & dads & it was So much fun! This is Scooter before we went to Nana & Papa's house!

Helping Myke wrap a present!
Erica!! (aka Miss Poinsettia!)
We had our suitcases out because on the 26th we were heading to Missouri -so Scooter wanted to bring his suitcase for the sleepover at Nannys! He pulled it around with him the whole night!
Borrowing Mauri's Christmas hat! Merry Christmas everyone!
Leaving out some reindeer food! Lins brought some of this for Mar & Scooter - and they thought it was great to spread it out over the snow!
Happy boy & happy mom!
Erica & Myke being silly! Myke pretended to fall backwards after this - and it really scared Erica! (they were on the stairs!)
Christmas eve jammies!!
CHRISTMAS MORNING
We were very lucky because the kiddos were both asleep around 10:30pm and didn't wake up until 9am! Mar woke up first, so we woke Scooter up & asked him if he wanted to see what Santa brought & he sat right up and said "Yes!" It was so fun to be together and watch the kiddos! Kids just bring something magical to Christmas, and being around them helps me feel the Christmas spirit more!

Santa brought Scooter & Mar both an easel!
Happy, handsome boys! So glad they're mine!!
Scooter's new computer!
Erica's new computer!
Playing with Myke!!
Glendon & Ry had almost the same pair of shorts for their Christmas jammies! We thought it was funny that they were so similar - so we took a picture! And afterwords they told me I was just supossed to take a picture of the shorts!! Oh well!!
Helping Papa clean up the Christmas mornig dishes.
My mom made our traditional scones & honey butter for breakfast - and we had so much fun being together!! We had to have a few "family interventions" - because Scooter & Mar would play fine for a while, and then one of them would get mad or hit or something & the other one would retaliate. At first it was so frustrating - they usually play so nice together! But then it became comical. Whoever was standing closest to them would just intervene & hold em back! Ha ha!! We love our family so much, and I'm so grateful that we could be together for Christmas!! Being with family is one of my favorite things about the holidays!!
